SOHA Engineers is part of a design/build team for the structural design of this new two-story (with basement) reinforced concrete shear wall, seismically isolated essential facility building. Located in close proximity to the Hayward Fault, it houses the City of Berkeley Police and Fire Department, a 911 dispatch center, training operations, a control center, administrative offices, and holding cells.
