​The structural design of a new 70,000-square-foot educational complex in the Oakland Hills, adjacent to Joaquin Miller Park, is ongoing. The facility includes a 70-foot-diameter planetarium, indoor and outdoor exhibit areas, multiple observation areas for several telescopes, a large-screen theater, laboratories, and other general office and administrative areas.
