​The new sports center located in East Oakland serves the community in the area. This 23,000-square-foot recreation facility includes a new natatorium with a competition pool, exercise rooms, administrative offices, locker rooms, and public meeting rooms. Long-span steel trusses span across the natatorium space, with steel braced frames supporting the structure laterally.
