This replacement facility for the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is located on a 4.85-acre site in Redwood City. The project includes initial housing for 576 beds with future expansion to 832 beds and features an administration and support services building connected to the housing units. The facility is situated east of Highway 101 in an area with poor soil conditions, including Bay Mud and liquefaction issues.
